I have mentioned so many times that InMotion's support is really friendly. Do you know why I am highlighting support every time? Reason is that customer support helps you every time if you're in a trouble. If customer support is not good (not helping you), then what you would do? Luckily, I am with InMotion Hosting, and their support department helped me every time. I have contacted them several times whenever I had problems. Every time I contacted them, they helped me. I would tell you 2 of my stories when I contacted InMotion Hosting for help. In fact, I contacted them several times but today, I would share only two of them. I usually use the Live Chat method because it is very quick and easy. Once I was doing some experiments with the .HTACCESS file. I accidently did a big mistake. This is one of the great methods to find long tail keywords that actually word.

1. Login to Search Console and click on "Search Traffic" in the sidebar.
2. Now, click on "Search Analytics".
3. Now, you will see a big chart of your incoming search queries.
4. Sort this chart on the average position and you will found your top ranking keywords.
5. Now, research on that keywords and write an article on the keyword which for which you are not ranking actually.

5. Using HitTail

HitTail is a long tail keyword tool that we are using on Blogging House. HitTail is a paid tool but investing on it is really useful. HitTail uses your Google Webmaster Tools account and then shows you the long tail keywords. Its suggestion tab is really great, it suggests the keywords that you can easily rank. I am using HitTail on Blogging House and published a Hittail Review. In other words, you can say HitTail is a long tail keyword generator. They are offering a free trail, why not use it?

Hi, thanks a lot for this interview, it’s a great opportunity for me to share my views and introduce myself. I started my first blog during my school days and it was just another website sign up for me, like Orkut or Yahoo! Mail, I didn’t realise the power of Blogging, until I started to write some posts and get genuine responses to it. I started to realise Blogging is a wonderful tool to spread information. This lead to Slashsquare, which is an Indian Blog Network and Web Consulting Media, I’m running this for the past few years. I created a hub of blogs under which I share quality information and create communities. 2. When you started blogging, did you think that you will make money by doing this? I absolutely had no clue, I think that was a great thing for me at that time, else I would have entirely focussed on making money alone. I knew about Google AdSense, but I didn’t really bother about it much and didn’t know all the blogs could make money out of it. Making money is a part of your blogging journey and not your destination. 3. Well, blogging is a hard thing for starting (for most users). Did your family try to stop you? They didn’t stop me or anything, but they were anxious to know whether “Blogging” as a profession is a reliable one or not.. whether it is consistent or not. But yes, my passion was greater than their stopping force. 4. What was the reaction of your family when they saw that you are progressing in blogging? They are happy that I’m doing good in Blogging. My personal life and my professional life are way too complicated. 5. Will you leave Blogging in any part of your life? I don’t think so :-P I was an engineering student and my academic life was very poor. I had like 12+ backlogs and it was really a big headache for my blogging passion. I decided to take a break from blogging to focus on clearing those backlogs, but unfortunately the break was very short than I expected. I started to blog like before, I decided to focus on my passion rather than something I’m not really interested in. 6. Why are you not using AdSense on HellBound Bloggers (HBB)? Is there any other method you are using to make money? HellBound Bloggers (HBB) and other blogs under our Slashsquare network are not using Google AdSense for the moment. I somehow feel ads are kinda distracting the readers and moreover I started focusing on Affiliate Marketing and other Sponsored Ads. 7. Did Blogging affected your Education? I think the question should be “Did Education affected your Blogging?”. Yea, kind of. :( 8. “Posting articles frequently” What do you say about this? A blog’s posting frequency varies from niche to niche. If you are running a ‘breaking news’ tech blog, then your posting frequency should be very high. If you are running a blogging tips related blog, then your posting frequency need not be very high, but at least 5-6 times a week will be sufficient. It doesn’t matter that much as long as you are posting well researched quality articles. 9. Have you ever got any loss of money in blogging? Nope, I invested some money on Blogging, but even if they fail, they helped me to earn more next. So I didn’t really lose anything yet. :) 10. Which is your favourite country after India? :O I haven’t actually visited anywhere apart from India, but I wanted to visit Egypt once. That’s it for now. 11. Tell us the name of three persons who helped you in blogging? Initially when I started Blogging, I followed many people, I analysed what they do, how they reply back to the comments and so on.. then I got some readers for my blog, again I started to follow them, how they read my blog posts, what they expect next and so on.. these are the people who helped me a lot in blogging and list goes on.. 12. What you will choose, blogging or $1,000,000. Means, will you leave blogging if you will get a lot of money? To be honest, you can earn 100 x $1,000,000 easily from Blogging if you work hard & smart. 13. I have seen that you have an interest in photography, how you got interested in it? There isn’t any specific reasons mate, when I started to take photographs and analysed them, I can see something elegant and beautiful in that, I just wanted to learn more about Photography so that I can take better pictures for my blog posts and then I started Photovity. I’m still a good learner.. lets see how it goes. :) 14. Now, I am going to ask a personal question. Will you marry a female blogger If her blog’s ranking is not good? If you have asked me this question before few years, I would have given a good answer for this. :P If I marry a female blogger, my blog & her blog becomes ‘Ours’. Interview With Mike Allton

1. Welcome to Blogging House Mike. Thanks again for taking this interview. First of all, please tell us about yourself and how did you started.

My pleasure! I started blogging in 2007 when I moved to St. Louis and started working for myself. At the time, I was doing business development and website development, but found that I had a real interest in writing about Social Media, SEO, Technology, and blogging in general.

Unfortunately, those topics were not well positioned to support my business goals, so I started a new site and blog in 2012 called The Social Media Hat. It was designed to be an ad-supported portal of information, where I could also recommend products and offer services.

That turned out to be a far better direction and a very positive pivot. I have since been able to leverage my expertise into a full-time position with SiteSell as their Chief Marketing Officer. I still maintain The Social Media Hat since I love to blog!

2. The Social Media Hat shows your hard work, what is the best strategy you have done to make this?

I blogged. A lot. During the height of my publishing schedule in 2013, I would publish new blog posts 6 - 14 times per week. It wasn't unheard of for me to publish 3 - 4 times per day, some days, if there was a lot going on. I put systems and processes in place to help me keep up with industry news, and then I wrote about it. Social network changes, app updates, new ideas... anything I could find that was interesting to me.

I then leveraged all of that content to drive social media activity and engagement.

Other businesses and bloggers should take from that the importance of maintaining a constant publishing schedule. If it's less often than mine, that's OK, as long as one realizes the rate of growth will simply be slower.

3. For increasing traffic, what do you think about advertising?

I think advertising is a great method for increasing traffic, particular using Facebook. The ability to reach a very targeted audience, at a very affordable rate, is unparalleled.

I'm also a huge fan of using Triberr's promoted posts.

4. As you have worked with many businesses, what is the major mistake most businesses make?

I'm not sure there's a single, major mistake, but there are certainly lots of mistakes that lots of businesses make.

One that I see often is where businesses know they need to use social media, but don't take the time to really consider how they can effectively use social media. Because it's definitely not going to be broadcasting. It's more likely influencer marketing or relationship building or something along those lines. But that takes time, both to discern and to implement and to gauge.

Patience is needed.

5. What do you do when you are not working? or what's your hobby?

As I mentioned, I love to blog, so I really do write when I have "downtime" as it gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Other than that, I have two beautiful young girls, so my evenings and weekends are spent chasing them around.

6. How did you get more than 188,000 followers on Google+? Don't worry, our readers will keep it a secret :P

This 100% goes back to that intense publishing schedule throughout 2013. I was blogging every day, and sharing those posts to Google+ using best practices (formatted posts, interesting commentary, hashtags, blog notification circle, etc.), and was developing a rabid following as a result. Also, at two different points, Google+ put me in one of their Recommended People circles so I was getting tons of new Google+ users - it helped that I was writing about Google+, to be sure.

7. On Triberr, your reach is more than 244M. How did you make so many connections with bloggers?

For Triberr, there's been no secret sauce. I've simply been a power user on the network since its early days. I've regularly done Tribe searches and looked for new Tribes that are focused on marketing and business-related topics, and asked to join. Over time, I've been able to dramatically increase my Tribe membership and blogger connections.

The result is, quite frankly, amazing. Now, whenever I publish a new blog post, it gets tweeted out hundreds and hundreds of times, to audiences that are already specifically looking for content like mine.

8. Tell us about the three tools that you recommend.

My first go-to tool is Evernote. Evernote is how I keep track of and note every single blog post idea and topic. And it's where I do the majority of my writing. Since I can use it on my laptop or iPhone or iPad, it's everywhere that I am, allowing me to capture those ideas, no matter when they pop up.

Second is Feedly, or really any RSS reader so that I can subscribe to RSS feeds from peers and colleagues, as well as news and pressrooms. Want to know what Facebook is releasing so that you can blog about? Subscribe to their RSS feed! You'll see every announcement as soon as it comes out, letting you be one of the first to write about it.

Third is SocialOomph, which I use to make sure that my Twitter feeds are constantly sharing from my archive of over 400 evergreen articles.

9.  What is your next plan?
