Black Friday sale starts 9 Nov

InMotion Hosting Black Friday 2026: Sale Starts 9 November

What InMotion's hosting costs right now, the billing term that saves you $237, and what to do before the sale starts.

Quick answer

InMotion's Black Friday sale starts on 9 November 2026. Shared hosting is already up to 70% off: Launch is $4.79 a month on a 1-year term, or $4.99 on a 3-year term. Take the 3-year term: it's $179.64 for three years, against $417.24 if you buy one year and renew. Every plan has a 90-day money-back guarantee.

I hosted my sites on InMotion before I moved them to Cloudways, and it's still the host I'd suggest to anyone who wants a real person on the phone when something breaks.

InMotion's Black Friday sale starts 9 November

InMotion's deals page has a "Black Friday Deals - Coming Soon" countdown to 9 November 2026. It doesn't say yet what the sale will be. I'll update this page with the Black Friday prices the day they go live.

Right now, the deals page lists up to 63% off VPS hosting and up to 90% off domains, and shared hosting is up to 70% off on the pricing page.

Should you wait? If you're buying shared hosting this week, yes: the sale is two days away. If you need hosting today, the 90-day money-back guarantee means you aren't stuck with today's price.

InMotion's shared hosting plans

These are the 3-year prices, because that's the term I'd buy (see why below). Every plan includes a free domain, free SSL, email on your domain and free site migration.

Power is the one I'd pick. For $1 more a month than Launch you get 10 websites instead of 2, twice the storage, and phone support. Launch is chat and ticket only, and support is the main reason to choose InMotion.

1-year or 3-year term: the $4.79 price isn't the cheapest

InMotion advertises its lowest price, $4.79 a month, on the 1-year term. After that year, Launch renews at $14.99 a month. The 3-year term costs 20 cents a month more but keeps that price for all 36 months.

Plan1-year term, then renewal3-year termYou save
Launch$4.79/mo, then $14.99/mo = $417.24$4.99/mo = $179.64$237.60
Power$5.79/mo, then $18.99/mo = $525.24$5.99/mo = $215.64$309.60
Pro$10.59/mo, then $25.99/mo = $750.84$10.99/mo = $395.64$355.20

So the 3-year term costs less than half over three years. You pay it up front ($179.64 on Launch), and the 90-day guarantee still applies.

The VPS price is for the self-managed 4 vCPU plan (8GB RAM, 160GB NVMe) on a 24-month term. InMotion also sells managed VPS, where its team handles the server, starting at $13.99 a month.

What makes InMotion different from Hostinger and HostGator

All three sell cheap shared hosting. Here's what InMotion does that the other two don't:

  • It owns its data centres. InMotion runs its own hardware and network in Virginia, California and Amsterdam, and you choose the location at signup. Fixes don't wait on a third party.
  • Human support, including by phone. Support is 24/7 by chat, ticket and phone (phone from Power up). InMotion quotes a Net Promoter Score of 54 against an industry average of 40.
  • A 90-day money-back guarantee. Hostinger gives you 30 days. Ninety days is long enough to see how a host handles a real problem.
  • Developer tools on shared plans. Python, Node.js, Ruby, Git and SSH are included, which most cheap shared hosts keep for VPS.
  • Room to grow without moving host. You can go from shared to managed VPS to a dedicated server, and InMotion's team migrates your sites for you.

What to weigh against that: Hostinger is cheaper ($1.99 a month for 48 months), and InMotion doesn't use LiteSpeed, so LiteSpeed-only caching plugins won't help. InMotion uses its own NGINX-based stack instead.

How to claim InMotion's deal

  1. Open InMotion's shared hosting page and switch the plan table to 3 Year. The default view shows the 1-year price.
  2. Choose Power (or Launch for one or two sites). No coupon is needed.
  3. Check the order summary for the term and the total. Power should be $5.99 a month for 36 months.
  4. Ask for a free migration if you're moving an existing site. InMotion's team moves it from a cPanel or WordPress backup.

Quick take

Why it's a good deal

  • 90-day money-back guarantee, three times Hostinger's
  • Human support 24/7, with phone from the Power plan
  • The 3-year term locks the price for 36 months
  • Free domain, SSL and site migration on every plan

What to watch

  • The advertised $4.79 is for 1 year, then $14.99 a month
  • Black Friday prices aren't out until 9 November
  • Costs more than Hostinger over three years

My take

For a business site where support matters, take Power on the 3-year term at $5.99 a month. Better still, wait until 9 November and check whether the Black Friday price beats it. I'll have it on this page that day.

If you want more speed and room to grow than shared hosting gives, see Cloudways' Black Friday deal, which is where I moved my own sites. If price matters most, Hostinger's sale is cheaper. And I've put every Black Friday hosting deal side by side with what each costs over three years.

Frequently asked questions

When does InMotion Hosting's Black Friday sale start?

On 9 November 2026. InMotion's deals page shows a "Black Friday Deals - Coming Soon" countdown to that date. Until then, its normal discounts apply: shared hosting up to 70% off and VPS up to 63% off.

Do I need an InMotion coupon code?

Not for shared hosting or VPS: the discount is already in the price. The one code InMotion runs right now is SAVE50, which takes half off the first month of InMotion Cloud plans until 30 November 2026.

Is InMotion's 1-year or 3-year term cheaper?

The 3-year term. Launch is $4.79 a month on 1 year but renews at $14.99, so three years cost $417.24. On the 3-year term it's $4.99 a month, $179.64 in total.

What is InMotion's money-back guarantee?

90 days on shared hosting: cancel within 90 days for a full refund. InMotion says its guarantee runs from 30 to 90 days depending on the product, so check the length for VPS or dedicated servers at checkout.

Is InMotion Hosting good for WordPress?

Yes, for business sites that want human support. Plans run on NVMe storage with InMotion's own caching stack, one-click WordPress installs and free migrations. If you want your own scalable cloud server instead, Cloudways is what I moved my sites to.
