I've been building websites since 2012 and writing Blogging House since 2015. By day I'm a backend software engineer working on SaaS and AI systems. Here I write about AI tools, search and hosting for bloggers.
I started with HTML, CSS and PHP, fell for WordPress, and spent years building, reviewing and speeding up WordPress sites for myself and for clients. After a degree in computer science I moved into backend engineering on SaaS products, and now I build with LLMs and AI agents. This site runs on that work: it's a static site I maintain with Claude Code.
